View and edit vCard or CSV contact files and even generate QR codes for your contacts via an uncomplicated and easy to navigate user interface
vCard Editor2 is designed to help you view and edit contact details for multiple users in a more streamlined manner. The app can work with VCF and CSV contact files, and displays their contents in list mode, so you get to modify details for multiple users without extensive navigation.
Open contact files and filter their content by different criteria
Once you open a CSV or VCF file within the vCard Editor2 application, via simple drop-down menus you get to select the group of contacts (if any) you want to analyze, the type of data you want to see, the columns or the labels that should be active.
In addition, you also get to sort the data by different criteria: address, name, email, instant message, social network, and so on. Depending on your settings, various details associated to each contact will be displayed in the vCard Editor2’s main window.
However, vCard Editor2 also allows you to see the contact information in a more traditional manner and even add new entries to the contacts file via the Contacts menu.
The same menu enables you to activate the QR Code panel where you can generate codes for each contact and export the data as a PNG image file. This function is very useful if you need to quickly share contact details with anyone that uses a camera enabled device.
Edit the entries stored in contact data files in a streamlined manner
By default, vCard Editor2 displays the contact data files in locked mode, which means that you can only see the data until you choose to switch to the Edit mode, and be able to modify the content of any included field.
To avoid any possible issues, vCard Editor2 also integrates support for the revert function, so you can quickly go back to earlier version of the database. The modifications can be saved to the original file, or you can export the data to a CSV document.
